Kohlrabi: Konan - NEW!

Terrific new kohlrabi! We think kohlrabi is an underrated veggie! Why? Well, for starters, it tastes great- green and crisp and like a very very mild broccoli stem but way better. Our favorite way to eat it is raw (shredded into salads or as a garnish), or roasted as part of a warm meal. AND, perhaps the most important for a gardener to know- it is extremely easy to grow and lasts for so so long both in the field and then in the fridge. We often tuck plants into areas emptied by spring lettuce and spinach- it really is a perfect succession plant.
