From Prairie Moon Nursery: “Its mint-scented leaves and white flowers are the perfect addition to any shady woodland, woodland edge, savanna, or other partially shaded area.
Its white two-lipped flowers are packed in tight clusters stacked vertically on lightly branching stems that reach up to 3'. These flowers are pollinated primarily by long-tongued bees, specifically little carpenter bees, mason bees, and leaf-cutting bees. The aromatic leaves have one-inch stems, rounded bases and toothed margins. Because of these aromatic leaves, mammalian herbivores usually do not consume this plant.
