Sweet Potato Slips (Convington) - NEW!

SWEET POTATOES!!! We are excited to offer organic sweet potato slips this year! We have grown them for the last few years at the farm and really loved the fall harvest. Covington is one of the best varieties to grow in the north. It has rose-colored skin with sweet, smooth, bright orange flesh. Sweet potatoes do require lots of space- both vertically (give them about 18-24 inches) and vertically, because they grow long pretty vines. It is best to grow them in an area protected from deer, as they adore the leaves and stems. Sweet potatoes are very cold sensitive, and we will receive our slips at the end of May, so if you include them with an earlier order, you *may* need to make a 2nd trip to Daisy Hill Farm to pick them up.
