Seeds of India says: "This is the most common variety of snake gourd found in Southern India. One can expect gourds that are 3-4 feet long. This vine plant grows vigorously and is very prolific. In India it is a common sight to see them growing with rocks tied to their ends so they don't curl." Leave lots of space and trellising for the vine! This plant requires extra time, effort and space to grow, so it is offered in the 1 plant per 4-inch pot size. This is a new one this year for us and we can't wait!
