Dianthus: Chabaud Benigna

Annual Flower. This French garden heirloom has the fragrance of cloves (or so says Johnny’s Seeds). Frilly little carnations are 1 1/2-2” across and most are double blooms, with a few singles. Flowers are white with varying degrees of rose-colored edges. Sometimes the flowers are almost all rose-color. Foliage is a light dusty green. Excellent cut flower AND edible- flavor is reminiscent of clove.
